On-Line Catalog Policies


Price Policy
The prices on this web site are subject to change without notice.  Our internet prices reflect discounts of up to 35% off manufacturers’ suggested retail prices.  In the event of price increases by our manufacturers, we may find it necessary to adjust our prices.  
Please note: The prices in our on-line catalog are for internet/mail order purchases only and are not applicable to store purchases. Internet prices will not be honored for in-store purchases.

Order Processing
Please allow 5-7 business days for on-line order processing, although orders may ship sooner.  Whenever possible we will ship the next business day for orders received by 10:00am EST.  If your order will take more than 7 business days to process and ship, you will be notified by a Customer Service agent.  

Inventory
While we have a huge in-stock inventory, not all items/sizes/colors are guaranteed to be in stock. If not in stock, most items will ship within 5-7 business days.

Back Orders
We make every effort to ship orders complete. In the event that an item is not in stock, we will notify you that your order is on back order. We will ship the order complete when all items are in stock, unless otherwise stated.  Back orders are automatically cancelled after 30 days.

Cancellations
All cancellations must be sent by email only to backbaydance@verizon.net before 3pm EST on the current business day. No telephone cancellations. Cancellation requests cannot be guaranteed.

Special Orders
Special orders may not be returned.  Cancellations will be accepted within 24 hours of placing the order. Once the order has been submitted to our manufacturer, cancellations will not be allowed.

Rush Orders
For urgent/rush orders, please call to be sure items are in stock. Not all sizes/colors offered are in stock. Processing may take up to 5-7 business days if items are out of stock.

Group Orders
We have access to many items not listed in our on-line catalog.  If you are interested in a dancewear product not listed in our catalog, please contact us.  We will make every effort to meet your dancewear needs.

Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Shipping
Shipping costs will be determined by the method of shipment chosen at check-out.  Charges will be calculated at check-out when the shipping method is selected. Customers are responsible for all Customs fees on orders shipped internationally.

Returns
Please allow two weeks for processing.  Note: Special orders may not be returned.  
    •Must be sent postage paid
    •Must be in new, resalable condition in the original packaging with tags still
     attached.  
    •All sale items, undergarments, tights, DVDs, CDs, and make-up are a final
      sale. No returns~No exceptions
    •Must include a copy of your receipt & the Return/Exchange Form
    •We are not responsible for lost or stolen return packages.

Please Note:
Returns must be sent in original boxes and wrapped in brown paper or shipped inside a second box to protect the original packaging.

There will be a 20% re-stocking fee for any taped or otherwise damaged original packaging.


Pointe Shoe Returns:
Orders for multiple pairs of pointe shoes, if returned, will be subject to a 20% re-stocking charge.
